LSEG has been using a keyword search mechanism from their legacy system which provides the user with unfriendly results which included grouping different complex results set into on display result.

Competitor analysis

As part of the process to understand how the Search mechanism works and any opportunities to improve the overall experience. A gap analysis was conducted and communicated to stakeholders on how the LSEG proposition stood against the competition.

UX mockups

As this was an exploratory project, mockups were created to showcase how the search could be updated to accommodate new features requested by users and also, business stakeholders.
